This is a lovely stamp set for spring and summer . . . and any time you feel like bringing it out to make a card.
High Tide and Colorful Seasons seem to be a lovely pair to use together to get that special feeling of summer . . . yes, it does feel like summer to me.
I’m finding I use more than one stamp set while creating my cards. One image inspires me to add another from a different set . . . and sometimes a third or adding die cuts . . . I sometimes get inspired to use my Big Shot and die cut a bunch of images and I pack them away to use on my various cards when I want to add a bit of texture.
With this card, the chairs are die cuts which brings them out as an excellent focal point to this card.
I do like the sentiment . . . We do have friends and special loved ones where we can sit comfortably enjoying the scenery saying nothing . . . or talking about just about anything . . . or nothing of significance at all.
It’s nice to sit and relax catching up on the “news” of one’s life, but it isn’t always necessary . . . I do feel comfortable with silent pauses . . . it may be enjoying the moment or doing some introspection. This card brings all that out for me.
As I’ve said before . . . and will say again . . . Each card you make tells a story . . . It can be your personal story or one the viewer tells — a memory perhaps . . . or a feeling of tranquility . . .
When our cards can bring such feelings to those who receive them . . . I find it absolutely priceless!!
I’ll allow you to bask in the moment . . .
Before going, I’ll leave you with a short shopping list:
